Ben has 30 years of real estate planning, development, investment, and management experience across South East Asia countries at Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Myanmar.

As a graduate in Electrical Engineering, Ben started his career as electrical engineer in planning of infrastructure of industrial park. Leveraged on his engineering background to excel in planning, development, investment and management of industrial parks in South East Asia. Ben has proven record in overseeing large-scale projects from inception to completion.

Ben spent considerable time in Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Myanmar, where he gained in-depth knowledge of the local markets and developed strong business relationships. His strategic investments and development projects in these countries contributed to the growth and modernization of their real estate sectors. His 18 years stay in Vietnam has allowed him to understand the nuances of the local market and build a robust network of contacts.

Currently as General Director, Soilbuild Group of Companies in Vietnam, Ben spearheads the businesses of Soilbuild in Vietnam, extending Soilbuild’s 48 years of real estate development knowledge and knowhow from Singapore to Vietnam.

Soilbuild aims to play a part in the growth and modernization of Vietnam’s real estate sectors, contributing to the environment, social economic development of Vietnam. Within one year of entry to Vietnam, Soilbuild has secured several industrial development projects in provinces of Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, and Nghe An, developing LEED certified Ready Built and Build-to-Suit facilities for lease.
