Michael Piro is one of Vietnam’s leading real estate professionals, who brings nearly 20 years to his role as Indochina Capital’s CEO and Wink Hotel’s Co-Founder and CEO. Michael has directly overseen transactions across a variety of sectors with a value of more than $1 billion, while also being actively involved in the planning and development of over US$2 billion worth of high-end real estate in Vietnam.

One of Michael’s key assets is his extensive knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry in Vietnam. He was instrumental in the structuring and launch of Vietnam’s first branded residences including The Four Seasons Nam Hai Residences in Hoi An, Six Senses Con Dao Residences and the Hyatt Regency Danang Residences. As a leader and pioneer in the hospitality/branded residences sector, Michael went on to play a key role in the development consultancy of such condotel projects such as Intercontinental Phu Quoc, Fusion Suites Danang, and several other notable mixed-use developments.

As an industry thought leader in development, hospitality, and M&A advisory, Michael has been invited to speak in numerous events in Vietnam as well as in other countries in the region including Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand.

Michael is a chartered surveyor who holds a degree in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia and a diploma of Technology with a major in Commercial Real Estate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
